Getting started
How do I create a health profile for my pet?
Sign up for a free account, then add your pet's basic details — name, breed, age, and vet information. You can start logging vaccinations, medications, and visits right away, no app download required.
Do I need an app to use PetFolio Health?
No. PetFolio Health runs in your browser on any device. There's no app to install for owners or the people you share a report with.
What's included on the Free plan?
One pet profile with the core health dashboard, vaccination and medication tracking, vet visit logs, and an emergency information page. Document scanning, PDF report exports, and vet report sharing require Plus or Premium.
Scanning & uploading documents
How does document scanning work?
Upload a PDF or photo of a vet record on Plus or Premium. The document is sent to an AI service that reads the visible text and maps it to the matching fields — vaccinations, medications, visits, and more. You review every field before anything is saved; nothing is added automatically. See a full walkthrough on the sample report page.
Can I reject or fix something the scan got wrong?
Yes. In the review step, uncheck any item that's wrong, doesn't belong to your pet, or you'd rather enter yourself — only the items you leave checked are saved. The original file is kept in Documents regardless, so you can always refer back to it.
Is my document kept after scanning?
Yes, the original file is stored in your Documents library alongside the records it produced.
Sharing a report
How do I share my pet's records with a vet or sitter?
From the Vet Report page, generate a report and choose to email it, copy it to your clipboard, or print it. Each report is a snapshot as of the moment you generate it — it is not a live link that updates on its own, so send a fresh copy whenever records change.
Does the person I share with need an account?
No. A shared or printed report is a standalone document — recipients don't need a PetFolio Health account and don't get access to your data.
Medications & reminders
Can I set reminders for medications and vaccines?
Yes, on Plus and Premium you can set recurring reminders for medications, vaccines, and other preventive care so nothing falls through the cracks.
Billing & plans
What's the difference between Plus and Premium?
Plus covers up to 5 pets with document scanning, reminders, and report sharing. Premium adds unlimited pets, priority support, early access to new features, and export assistance. Full details are on the pricing section of the homepage.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time from your account's Billing page. See our Billing Policy for what happens to your data and access after a change.
Data & privacy
Who can see my pet's information?
Only you, unless you choose to share a report. Document scanning uses an external AI processor to read uploaded files; you review the results before anything is saved.
How do I request or delete my data?
